Executive Vice President | Profit Center Leader

Starting as an intern with Brown & Brown Daytona office in 2004 and working his way to Executive Vice President, Greg brings over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry to the Tallahassee office. Under Greg’s leadership over the past seven years, the Tallahassee office has expanded its capabilities to offer Panhandle customers the local presence and expertise of a small-town agency with the resources and strength of a large, international insurance brokerage.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Greg graduated from Florida State University with his bachelor’s degree is Risk Management. He holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines Property & Casualty License as well as 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities License. In addition, he earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2006.

When Greg is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, his daughter, Kenzie, and his son, Tucker.  Greg and his family are avid Seminole fans and proudly support their Noles at every local game.

David Cramer

Personal Lines Leader

David brings 27 years of experience in the insurance and personal risk management industry.  Previously, David worked in various sales and management capacities with Liberty Mutual in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.  He has been the leader of the Brown & Brown of Tallahassee’s personal insurance operation since 2012.  David holds primary responsibilities for the development and servicing of new and existing accounts and overall departmental management.

In addition to his work at Brown & Brown, David is an active member of the Springtime Tallahassee Organization and the Spanish Krewe, serving as Krewe Chief for 2018-19.

David attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earning a B.S. in Hospitality Management in 1991.  He and his wife, Kim, have two children, Alec and Lauren, and reside in Tallahassee, Florida.  David and Kim share an avid passion for travel.

Employee Benefits Leader

Gary has been with Brown & Brown for 27 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Leader of Brown & Brown Tallahassee for the past nine years. He holds a Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuities license and has attained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  This designation is the recognized standard for professionalism in the Employee Benefits industry.  He also earned a certificate in the Healthcare Reform legislation from the American College.

His many years of experience and broad background of knowledge in all aspects of Employee Benefits planning provides Brown & Brown customers with invaluable insight.  He understands the difficulties facing employers in a rapidly changing work environment and can shed light on how group insurance can positively impact the success of a business.

Marketing Leader

Hayley Cannon is the Marketing Leader of the Tallahassee, Florida, Brown & Brown Office, where she has been since 2015. She started at Brown & Brown as a marketing assistant, and worked her way up to lead the department where she and her team focus on marketing new and renewal commercial lines business.

In addition to her work, Hayley has focused greatly on her professional development through licensing and industry related designations. She holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines License, Florida Surplus Lines License, and has a CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) Designation from the Institutes.

Hayley graduated from Troy University with a B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance in 2015. She and her husband, David Cannon, live in Crawfordville, Florida, with their daughter, Harper.

Commercial Lines Leader

Stacey is the Commercial Lines Team Leader with Brown & Brown Tallahassee. With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Stacey is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our busy, customer-focused office.  In addition, Stacey manages our internal operations. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys her family life, including her husband, seven children and multiple grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, woodworking, and gardening.

Kristyn Pittman

Accounting Leader

Kristyn Pittman joined the Brown & Brown Insurance team as a receptionist in 2014.  After obtaining her accounting degree, she advanced to an accounting assistant role, and then to Accounting Leader in January of 2018.  Her primary responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and monthly reporting of our office performance.  She also serves as the local head of Team Resources and technical support.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Kristyn worked as a real estate paralegal.  She holds degrees in history and accounting.  In her spare time, Kristyn enjoys spending time with her family, doing craft projects, and visiting national parks.
